What is EDUS

The project seeks to enhance the incorporation of education for sustainable development into the VET system through the development, piloting, and dissemination of a training methodology.

About the project

Main goals

The project aims at fostering the integration of education for sustainable development in the VET system by developing, piloting and disseminating a training methodology. More specifically, its objectives are:

To identify and assess knowledge and competences related to sustainable development

To equip trainers with a methodology and a set of tools for educating for sustainable development, adaptable to their needs

To mainstream education for sustainable development in the VET system

What results do we expect

We expect to produce a methodology that can be exploited by VET trainers to educate their learners for sustainable development.

By accessing the methodology, trainers enhance their own sustainability competences and are enabled to integrate education for sustainable development in their training programs.

In this way we want to contribute to achieving a target of the 2030 Agenda stating that by 2030 all learners should have acquired the knowledge and skills to promote sustainable development.
