Did you know there is a GreenComp Community – a European participatory community founded by the European Commission that supports teaching and learning for the green transition and sustainable development?
The GreenComp Community is a collective of individuals and organizations dedicated to fostering sustainability competencies across Europe. Established in March 2023, the community builds upon the European Sustainability Competence Framework, known as GreenComp, aiming to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for sustainable living, working, and action.
How can you participate if you join this online community?
- GreenComp Cafés: Regular gatherings where members share experiences, discuss the application of the GreenComp framework, and explore its adaptation across various educational contexts.
- Resource Library: A curated collection of learning scenarios and materials designed to assist educators in integrating sustainability competencies into their curricula.
- Community Events: Workshops and discussions focused on topics such as the assessment of sustainability competencies and the development of innovative educational projects.
